The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Share Market के लिए क्षमता निर्माण में शामिल है और long-term और short-term प्रमाणन पाठ्यक्रम, market mediators का अनिवार्य प्रमाणन, प्रबंधन विकास कार्यक्रम (एमडीपी), Investment Education और financial literacy कार्यक्रम और अन्य सहित विभिन्न क्षमता निर्माण गतिविधियों का संचालन करता है।

NISM का कैंपस 72-acre  में फैला हुआ है । It is a serene environment and state-of-the-art infrastructure जोकि Patalganga (near Mumbai-Pune Expressway) par स्थित है । जिसका inauguration हमारे यशस्वी प्रधानमंत्री Shri Narendra Modi ke dwara 24 December 2016  को हुआ था।

This picturesque campus offers full-time residential long-term programmes for postgraduate students, short-term training programmes and faculty development programmes for market participants.

NISM has embarked on a fast track expansion of its activities, both domestically and internationally, which will position the institute as a leading global player in knowledge dissemination and skills enhancement in the financial markets domain.

NISM Certification Examinations

National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) performs two functions delegated to it under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Certification of Associated Persons in Securities Markets) SEBI (CAPSM) Regulations, 2007. They are:

• Offering mandatory Certification Examinations for associated persons in the securities market intermediaries
• Offering Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs for associated persons in the securities market intermediaries
• Upon expiry of the validity of the certificate obtained by an associated person, the certificate shall be re-validated by passing the relevant NISM Certification Examination before the expiry of the existing certificate or by successfully completing a program of relevant one day ‘Continuing Professional Education (CPE)’ as may be specified by NISM during 12 months preceding the date of expiry of the certificate.*
• The certificate will be re-validated for a period of three years from the date of expiry of the existing certificate.
